They do seem to have a weird timing of
sending those out..
IE: Erich sent in early Dec, and still
waiting on check, while I've got mine,
but sent in 2-3 weeks later.
On the other hand, I'm still waiting for
the .40 mags, but riscoc66 who sent in a
full month later, already has his .40 mags.
That seems to indicate supply wasn't the
problem.. Like the old fart with the dogs
in the movie "Moonstruck", I'm confused..

Paperwork mailed in on 01-14. No rebate check received yet.

Well, my rebate deal is now complete. $50 Check arrived today [03/17/08]. Seems appropriate to get the "green backs" on St. Patty's Day!

Well, I called S&W today to gripe (MK sums up the situation well at the top of this page

), and got a very nice man who told me that it's a total fustercluck over there. He said to give it two more weeks on my 10 Dec rebate check before calling back - he said it should be here by then.

We'll see . . .

I mailed my rebate forms on 1/30...S&W entered the rebate into their system on 2/12. So what is the time you all have seen to, 1st get the 2 mags, then 2nd get the rebate check? In the other forum I'm in it seems the mags come about 3 weeks after S&W enters them into the system and about 10 to 12 weeks for the check. Does that seem to be the norm?

I had called S&W once maybe a week ago and was told that the mags were out of stock, I have the MP40 so I'm guesing they were talking about just the MP40 mags. The guy did say they were hiring more people that are in the dept that shipd the mags out so that they can try and keep up with demand.

This is just my .02 that was told to me!

Well I got a teaser yesterday! I saw an envelope with Smith and Wesson written all over it and I got really excited, only to open it and find out it was my Club1852 membership card...

Oh well at least I know they have my address...sent my stuff in the 15th of Feb.
Any day now I hope

I never registered mine.. I thought they
asked too many danged personal questions.
I might send it in with only the relevant
info pertaining to the pistol, and ignore
all the rest..
I get testy if a radio shack employee asks

No mags - called S&W and was told that they were out of M&P40 full size mags for now, so keep waiting.

I received my check last week and still have not receivd my 9VE magazines. Called SW and they said due the overwhelming response, there are some delays. I have always received what was promised from S&W...bags, rebates, magazines, etc.

So I will wait patiently. Gonna pick up my M&P 45 this week to take advantage of the rebate and two free magazines.
