Obviously you nay sayers need to sign up for a self defense class at your local range. You'd learn to hold your LCP in close to your rib cage until you can point shoot the bear's tonsils as you go past. He'll barf you up then look for a lunch that doesn't bother his digestive tract so much.

I will use a phrase my wife is fond of, "beats a sharp stick in the eye". I am awful sure of one thing, I certainly don't want to be shot at by it. Set side by side with my usual 9mm and I don't see much difference in the size of the projectile being hurled forth from the barrel.

I wouldn't want to be (at) shot at all!

The .380 uses the exact diameter bullet as your 9 mm, just lighter on average and slower.

FYI I am still healing from trying it out.

Big handed people and teeny little automatics. They'll teach you to get your grip right for sure.

Yes, the Walther PP(K)s among others are famous for thumb web slicing, 1911s for hammer bite...revolvers are much easier on the hands.
