That's a true statement, my Sigma 9F has a much better trigger than either the 9VE (I sold) or the 40VE I just bought. The 9F is butt ugly, but is much more capable of grouping shots. The Sigma VE series has its drawbacks, accuracy being the most important, but the VE series may be the best Hi-Cap for the money ever marketed for the price. Shoot, I bought a new 9VE last spring for $299 with 4 mags, just bought a mint 40VE Allied Forces model used for $200- all this after having purchased a 9F with two 17(!) round mags for $150. I've fired and owned many handguns, and I believe the accuracy problem with the Sigma VE is the unreasonable 89lb. trigger pull. After a few thousand rounds through my 9VE, the trigger never "smoothed out" or became as crisp as the 9F or the other semiautos I own or have owned. But it would get the job done if called upon, case closed.
