I know we have some Yoopers around here, you guys hanging in there? 42 inches since Monday in Negaunee, that's crazy! Hope your snow blowers are going strong, you're going to need them this winter!
Also, no need to share your "wealth" with the rest of the state, you can keep it! ;)

If you don't want it , just send it over to NEVADA !!

We look like a frigging dried up prune !!

The main river through Reno, the Truckee, is nothing but a bed of rocks !!

Snow can be a good thing.

It's been snowing since Monday here (Golden, CO) and it's still single digit inches of accumulation. Coming from the East this aint ****, but still the roads must not be cleared.

Monday's storm missed most of the Twin Cities. Less than an inch where I live. St Cloud (North of Cities) got 12+ inches. This is just too soon. Makes for a long winter.

No snow...but it was almost 70 degrees two days ago; right now it is 15 degrees.

We are about 30 degrees colder than 2 days ago.

47 now. Not as cold as folks north of here but colder than normal.

It looks like LSU will be playing in the snow in Arkansas on Saturday. That should be interesting for both teams.

My little one has a sore throat and I was checking on him and getting him back to bed. I looked out and our decks have a dusting of snow here in central Arkansas! Amazing for mid-November.

1st snow this year in the Cleveland, Ohio area this morning. No real accumulation, but some of the roads got covered in a finger-snap & as we are just about at the freezing mark, it is slick. I got to the office @ about 6:20AM; a co-worker just told me there was an 8-car pile-up on the interstate a while after that.

As oneflycowboy said, the older I get the more I hate dealing with the winters here. At least now both cars are in the garage & I don't have to deal with scraping windows @ 5:45AM, or using gallons of gas to warm up every morning. If winter & snow would arrive around December 17th, stick around & then leave by January 10th, I'd be a happy camper!

Here in SW Tennessee we got a light dusting this morning. Roads are clear. Its mostly just on vehicles and roofs. Temperature is 30 degrees at 7:00am. High today is suppossed to be 38.
This is highly unusual for this time of year. We normally don't get this sort of weather until January or February.
I truely feel for you folks up north.

Michigan's deer season is not even open yet, but I doubt that many hunters will be able to get in the woods this weekend!

32" and counting for the last 3 days. Thank you Typhoon Nuri!
