Got Snow?

None here as it all hit our UP as mentioned already. I got the plow on my garden tractor but still have to put the chains on and change the oil.
Plenty cold though and been feeding the fireplace insert the last few days.
I've had enough of winters especially after last year. Someday maybe we'll move south and leave all of this behind.

NW Oregon...November 1=rain until further notice. Sometimes it freezes a little bit just to remind us it can. Well it keeps everything green:).

No snow here yet. About 2 hours south of Cleveland. More fun to walk my greyhound in snow than in the rain tho.

Willamette valley Oregun just rain and more rain, we don't tan just rust.

I use a tremendous amount of gun oil. Just can't keep enough in stock. Leave a firearm in a gun case dry overnight and you might spend the next 2 weeks with tears in your eyes scrubbing. The new coatings on firearms help but older guns with worn blueing need constant care. Barricade seems to help. I use lots of that.

Johnsons paste wax will help.. Yep its wet here.

I'll have to try that. That might work on my press and dies too. Keeping dies from rusting here is a challenge.

I lived on the coast for a while and bought a portable dehumidifier to keep the moisture down. Had to dump a gallon of water out a day. It kept my stuff dry though.

A gallon. Doesn't surprise me at all. A bag of dry concrete left in the garage is a 100 lb brick in a few days.

It's snowing here in downstate IL right now, but nothing is sticking to the ground, it's only 27 degrees out. I'm thinking positive that it will warm up to at least 30 this afternoon so we can go shoot skeet.

Too much Global Warming in New Jersey.
Doesn't get cold enough to snow here anymore.
Not!

Had the snowblower gassed up and tested weeks ago. We got about 2" snow with a couple more expected in the next few days. I'd gladly trade -14 degree temps for a foot of snow right about now.

The old body tends to shut down around 20 degrees.I guess it didn't make much sense to be looking out the front window while sucking on a cold beer.

No snow here, but it only got up to 51º today. I was going out to shoot with a friend, but we decided it was too cold. I'm a fair weather shooter, and he told me he had enough cold in the Battle of the Bulge and didn't want any more (he's 92).

We had eight to 12 inches in the first storm.
About the same the next day. A couple-three inches overnight.

Ran the snowblower twice in one day, something I try to avoid.
Been using the scoop since. Supposed to get walloped again in a
few days.

On the news earlier tonight I heard a guy say his deer camp has
"...three blinds we can't get to because of the snow."

The Finns did have big woodpiles this fall...
