This started out as a lark and has morphed into a mission. A friend gave me a plethora of small parts and one thing led to another and now I have a model 10-14-15-19-66. It started as a 4" mod 15 frame, a 10 cylinder an crane and 19 an 66 innards.
I had to take 60 thousands off the forcing cone and chafer in a new cone. Pulled all the innards and polish them again just for fun. Now its smooth as silk and firing loads of 8.4 HS6 with a 158 Barry's on top very well. It will be a range oddity and I won't be shooting any full power loads.
Now I'm itching to find a round butt k frame to use the 4" mod 15 barrel and cylinders on. Then make a grip for it out of a large bear femur bone I've had laying around for over a decade.

It’s a 10-14-15-19-66 shooting machine. I think Johnny Cash wrote a song about that gun……….K frame bear bone grips would be pretty cool. I’d be first in line to buy a set.

You could cut it into a round butt if the serial number will still be complete when you are done. Just use a set of round butt K grips as a cutting pattern. I have done that several times but the serial number does have to be a bit forward on the bottom surface.

I thought of trimming the grip frame to fit the femur I have but I think I'll wait to see if this fella sticks around until October. He should be a bit larger than the 380 pounder the femur I have is.

Holy smokes! That thing is so ugly that it's actually pretty. Not sure about those Goodyear grips, it's a maximum size K-frame 38 Special, which I think begs for wood stocks.
