Well we finally got a break in rain between Isaac and good old south La weather so me and Brother in law did some shooting out by the marsh today before the LSU game. Geaux Tigers!

I took a hole saw to a 2"x4" and made a holder for some skoal cans, fill them up with water and they blow apart when you hit them! I work 21&7 so I stock pile 20-30 cans while I'm at work.

Usually I'll freeze 2 liter coke bottles to shoot with the M&P40 and Tec9, after a couple shots they come apart and it's fun to watch the ice flying everywhere.

My wife was afraid of guns, but she would come sit with me and watch me shoot and once I got the 15-22 I talked her into trying it and she loves it!! I screwed up and showed her the pink 15-22 and now she wants one! Eventually gonna get her one and a M&P22.

I finally got a free opportunity to shoot today since Issac, and now the wind is whipping like crazy. Was hoping to shoot some long distance but I doubt I can get any degree of consistency.

Maybe I can salvage the afternoon with some mindless plinking... After all, any time behind a 15-22 is a good time!

Glad You guys got through Issac OK and are getting some time to send lead downrange. Great stress relief shooting the .22's ! Stay dry & stay safe guys.........WVleo

Looks like a ton of fun! Glad you guys got Issac out the way. Nothing makes ya feel better than getting a little target practice in!

Yeah I was depressed when they were talking about Isaac stalling out, I work 21 and 7 so I get one week a month home so I'm always busy doing stuff around the house and spending time with my wife so I set aside the Saturday afternoon to go shoot and I just knew the weather was gonna be horrible. Thankfully it cleared up and I was able to get my fix, would've been a long three weeks of looking at pics of my rifle had we not been able to. Where I work would be perfect to shoot, we are in the middle of the desert about 5 miles from the Rio Grande but unfortunately I can't bring my rifle, plus my luck might ricochet a round and catch a Border Agent chasing Illegals!
