Green Laser

Thanks for the explanation, DownRange. Better to have too much information than not enough. Sounds like they treated you right and that's the important part.

Well.... I mounted the Laserlyte Kryptonyte K15 on my Bushmaster just cuz I was bored. It held up for almost a full 20rd mag before losing zero by several inches. I guess I'll call for yet another RA number. :(

The lady that "helped" me at Laserlyte was Gina. She finally figured out that most of the stuff they sell is to be mounted on firearms that might have some recoil. She said that they would bring that up to the customer service people so that, maybe, they might ask when and how the laser malfunctioned.

They sent me a new one that had been "extensively tested" before it shipped. I don't know how they got it out of the packaging w/out destroying said packaging--and then, after testing, got it back in the plastic w/out so much as a scratch! Amazing!

So far it has worked fine but I'd don't believe that it would stay together on a 12 gauge w/ slugs any more than it would work at 100 yards in the daylight.

Gina had explained that they had never received any other complaints regarding my "problem". I'm guessing Gina never spent any time on the various forums where members have described the exact symptoms Phil and I have experienced.

Good luck w/ the warranty and tell Gina I said hello.

I talked to Gina. When I said that the K15 wasn't holding zero she asked me if I had last turned the adjustments clockwise. To which I promptly replied- Duuuuh.... I duknow. Apparently, turning the adjustments clockwise locks them in place. I haven't taken the K15 back to the range for clockwise excersizes yet but I think I might this afternoon. Fortunately, my Bushmaster has right hand twist rifling or the K15 would be useless.

Larry,

Your gal Gina was right. Turned both windage and elevation counterclockwise about one turn, then turned em clockwise till zeroed (I use the scope to zero the laser so it's real easy). After 200rds of Wolf62 the Laserlyte K15 didn't budge. I think I'll leave it on the Bushmaster for a while.... I can shoot at my club till dark and have not practiced shooting the AR other than at daylight.
