Greetings from Southwestern Pennsylvania. I'm new to the Forum and to owning a Smith and Wesson revolver...a used S&W 649J snubby. I am 74 yrs. and retired. I enjoy shooting, hunting, fishing and reloading. The snubby was purchased as a backup carry piece, replacing a Ruger GP-100 .357mag I used for target . with the .357mag it's a little stiff on the recoil side, but not bad with the 38 spl. I'm looking forward to being a part of the SWForum.
