I have a confession, I came here to learn from you guys. Please
be patient with me.

I bought a neat little S&W 442 Airweight a couple of years ago.
I was stupid enough to bring it home and show it to my wife.
Now she claims it as her pistol. I suppose I could buy another, but I am not certain that I am smart enough to recognize her's and mine.

Anyway, my first question, is that I am looking for a speed loader
for the five chambers but the grip seems to be the problem. Has anybody found a way around that?

Don't worry, I have other questions, but I will start with that one.

Charlie

Howdy from Ohio...good to have you in the house! You will want to ask your question in the revolver section of the forum: better traffic thus more answers/insight. Good luck!

Welcome aboard Charlie from the great state of Pennsylvania!

Thank you all for your warm welcome. Been a good first day for me here. I found some powder that I had been searching for at least a year. Got a tip out of the reloading forum. You guys are great. Thanks.

Welcome fellow "Webfoot" as to your question re speed loader clearance... what is the vintage of this 442? Is it an older model or does it have the lock? There were some changes in the grip IIRC. Does it have factory or aftermarket grips?

No lock and factory grips. I bought it two or three years ago. I do not know when it was made. Nice little piece though.

Welcome from Texas Charlie. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Oh darn, you have to go and buy another pistol. What is this world coming to?
