OK folks. Here are some more finds from the yards sales I mentioned in an earlier post. Along with the model 19-5 was the following grips. The nice lady at the sale said she was sure the orginal grips for the 19-5 were in this box labeled " Smith Grips". All of her late husband's stuff was organized and well marked, so I was pretty sure she was right. Another $5.00 changed hands and away I went.
When I arrived home I eagerly tore open the box and took out the carefully wrapped grips. The only thing I recognized was the K-frame smooth target grips pictured below. The rest are a complete mystery to me.
I know most are not revolver grips, except the tiny pair. The screw holes on the flat panels do not match, so the black rubber ones and the pretty walnut ones don't look to come from the same weapon.
Here's my challenge, can you knowledgable folks identify the grips I bought? I don't need any of them except the K-frames, but I cannot sell the others without at least having an idea of what they are.
Here they are: Good luck and thanks in advance.
Yes, that is a penny beside the small grip panels. That must be one tiny pistol.
