I'm always on the hunt for more grips (stocks) for my assorted K- and N-frame S&W's, and I've found several decent sets lately, but most have come without the grip screw. I've searched Midway's website and a few others, but I can't ever seem to find them for in stock or sale at anything resembling a fair price, I'm not paying $12 for a machine screw! So I thought I'd try the local vendors of such things, the problem is that I don't know the thread pitch or size. I think the thread pitch is 48.......can anyone help out here? I'd like to buy a dozen if I can find a good source.

Thanks!

Given that info, here's what I get......not sure this screw is short because they lopped off the photo, or because it's the wrong screw!

Brownells sells them in packages of 12. The head needs to be turned down, for the price wrap tape around the threads, chuck it in your drill and use a file to get it to fit. The 1" work fine with Magnas. Mark

The #for the pkg is 080-050-544AH. Mark

Thanks for the part number! Do you find the 1" to be adequate for proper fit? For K and N frame I find it takes 1 1/16" to 1 1/8" to fit the escutcheons properly.

As I said I have used them successfully with Magnas. For what they cost try them. Mark
