hi forum,does anyone know which grip company made the factory combat finger grips that came on the 627-0 and also the clasic dx's,i would like to put a pair on my 629-4 mountain.the prices on the original's are out of my price range for what they are asking when you do find them.thats why i would like to find the original manufacture of these and go after market.thanks

Go Culina and don't look back.

Not sure who made them originally, but you'll want to contact Culina Grips. Here's a couple brand new sets that arrived a few days ago (albiet K/L frames)

English walnut on the 617-1, Cocobolo on the 686-2.
