Dan Haggerty has lost his fight from cancer. I certainly enjoyed his Grizzly character.

Sorry to hear. He seemed like a big sweet bear of a man. He had a very interesting life. I hope he didn't suffer to much. Cancer is such a nasty way to go.

Wow! I don't like this trend at all...more sad news. I loved the Grizzly Adams show when I was a little kid. It was a good wholesome family program. Haggerty seemed like a tender soul. Cancer sucks.

Comrad, what did Haggerty collect or was he picking? That would be interesting to see. I wonder if they will rerun it.

Sold some nice stuff, the door, the table and I believe a nice painting. It was a good episode, real nice guy.

Dan Haggerty had a small part in Easyrider and owned at least two of the bikes used in the movie. The pickers bought this painting on that episode along with the other things.

The Big "C" has and is taking some of my favorite actors and musicians in the last few years .. along with members of my family .. terrible disease with so many differ ways to attack your body !!

Ben was played by a female bear called Bozo that died in 1999 at the age of 39 according to yahoo answers who credits The Encyclopedia of TV Pets as their source.

So, one could say that Haggerty and Bozo are reunited again and probably gave each other a great big 'ol bear hug and wrestle upon seeing each other again. Nice thought <3

Watched his show years back and enjoyed it. Suffered serious injuries in a bike accident years back I recall. Also lost Alan Rickman I liked in Quigley Down Under.
