Groovy sight picture question

On my M&P I have the fixed groove rear with the half-moon blade in front. If it were a notched rear sight, the very top of the front post would appear to be level with the rear ones.

Obviously POI may be different with ammo choice, but how should the front and rear sights appear?

Your sight picture is the same with both sights.

Like Dan said, the top of the front post is still level with the top of the sight groove.
