Hi,
This is my first post here and I know it's a bit generic but you guys have a reputation for being knowledgeable, so I thought I'd ask.
I hear conflicting things on whether or not it is OK to get gun oil on rubber grips. In my case, it's Hoppe's Lubricating Oil and/or Rem Oil w/ Teflon on the rubber grips of a couple of Ruger revolvers. When wiping the guns I've been getting a fair amount of oil on the rubber grips and then sort of wiping it off at the end with another cloth. Is this a no-no? And if so, what now? Should I take them off and clean with soap and water, etc.?
Thanks a lot and I look forward to posting here for a long time.
