At the show this morning I spotted a J frame with ugly plastic grips. Upon further inspection the original numbered grips were in a separate box. I'm not sure they were ever on gun. They are perfect and the Jay Scott grips that were on it are period correct. Came with box tools and all paperwork. It was sold to original owner locally in 1974. There is the faintest turn line that only shows in the right light. There was an equally nice 37 Airweight with no box or paper work. I was gonna try and work a deal for both. But while looking at the 36 a lady walked up and said I'll take the Airweight. Apparently she looked at it earlier. I bought the gun for $400 out the door. I'm pretty excited about that price and the condition of gun. I probably won't shoot it as I have another 36 that I carry often. So here's some not so great pics. I look forward to your comments/ opinions.
