I too like guns with a purpose.
This causes me to shed a tear once in a while. At 2 different times I owned A ruger 3 screw 4 5/8" bbl in 41 Mag. It was the perfect packing size. My brain is not my best friend at trade times, while getting some Colts I let them go. I later sold the Colts after the prices went up.
Now I no longer have the Rugers. Watch out here comes another tear.![]()
Well, you guys need some help here. The next time you are tempted to sell a gun, just get in touch with me, and I'll figure out a purpose for it, and then you won't have to sell it, and then you won't end up feeling bad that you sold it!! See, now wasn't that easy??
I made up a rule some time ago: "always buy; never sell!!" I did modify it to stipulate that it was OK to sell any Smith and Wesson with an IL.
I thought about amending it to include any gun with a "warning label" roll marked on it someplace, you know, some thing like: "Don't use this firearm until you have read the owners manual, and send our lawyers a notarized disclaimer that if you get hurt, that you won't sue us". But then I'd have to get rid of my Rugers and Berettas.
Anyway,
Best Regards, and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
