Hanging on the Local Gun Shop Wall...

Maybe he should go back and pick up the Registered Mag too

I think he was going to, but thought the $425 asking price was a little high...........didn't like the color of the box or some such nonsense.;)

I would never live in an anti-gun state like MA. But for a deal like that, I might visit ...

Some of us have no choice but to stay here and fight the fight. This is the "home" of S&W and we must not forget the home of Lexington and Concord.

"Fighting the "antis" since 1974....

Very true

So true! I have had my C.C permit in Mass. for 24 years. and a F.I.D "for long guns" for 5 years before that. Once you got your L.T.C /C.C it's not really that bad. Some Items are a little harded to find here but you can find anything you want with a little work. We will continue to Fight the Fight...I live less than 10 miles down river from the Concord Green where our fight began!

Yeah, your SAT (screw driver) is the pre-war style with the stepped shaft and slightly different handle. At first glance, they look similar to the early post-war SATs. But they are not! That's the style shipped with Reg. Mags. They are very hard to find and the cheapest one I've seen in the last few years was $350. Your post-war non-releaved diamond target grips are probably worth $200 or close to it.
ADDED: but on second glance, something doesn't look right about the target grips. Either they are homemade or have been re-shaped and refinished. The diamand is too small and the border angle is off a bit.

Frosty,

Don't jay-walk for the next year or so. You'll never hear the buss coming! Don't bet on anything either. Guarantee you'll loose. Your luck is all used up. (smile)

Fantastic purchase. Wonder how many folk looking for ammo did not stop to look...Thanks for sharing the story, too.

Oh My!!!!! How long has that gunshop been in business? Congratulations on the find of the century.

"Did you try to talk them down?"

Now, THAT'S FUNNY!!!

Sick, but funny.

If that happened to me, I'd be sweating profusely, looking around for the cameras...

Glad your still in good health,, Cause I would have broken my arm getting my wallet out too fast ; ) PS Great Score

Finding THAT gun, with the accy's and box, in a SHOP, for $275.

Probably nearly the same odds as winning the LOTTO.

WOW!

Great find FP.. l would keep that gunshop name a secret. Who knows, next week you could walk in and find J Edgar's First Magnum hanging on the wall for Five Hundred Bucks
