Has Anybody Tried This Sight Tool??

I like it, especially the video and advice on protecting the slide plus the dual pusher which is slanted on one side and flat on the other. I'm considering getting one myself now.

Sometimes "inexpensive" tools do work out OK; in my experience, usually not. From what I see, I believe I would spend a little more to get something of higher quality. (JMHO)

Thanks for the link.

Let us know how it works on the Shield. I would buy one as the price on most sight presses are out of sight for the very few times some of us would use one. There was a very nice person on one gun forum ( I don't remember which one ) who would just send you the sight press he bought and all he asked was to return it or pass it along another shooter who asked for it.

The price is sure right if it works well without buggering up the gun or sight.

Yeah I'd deff like to spend a little more but there isn't Alot of choices for universal sight pushes out there and I'm not spending 300+ is have to buy Alot more sights to get my money back.

Allright I know its from the Glockstore, dont shoot me. Im a S&W guy. The $60 price tag is apealing but i cant see this being a great tool. Does anybody have any experience with it?Thanks

i'm going to give this tool a try.

i just ordered a set of big dot sights for my shield, so i should be able to provide some feedback in a couple of weeks.

I have one of those!

That is what I have it is made for M&Ps but will also work with some other guns by Smith as well as other manufacturers it is a well contructed tool with fine threads and has a lifetime warranty that you will never have to use, it is made for gunsmiths but for myself with 6 M&Ps not counting my M&P 15 Carbine it is a needed item, I will never again pay 50 plus to change sights either front or rear or both!

Yeah I'm sure that would work great bc it's made strictly for m&p's. I love my 2 m&p's but I'm not going to buy 6 of them. I need diversity in my hand guns, 3rd gens, sigs, H&K and 1911's. I was looking for a universal tool to use on as many as possible

Are you absolutely certain it will work. I asked and was told it should work but he had no direct knowlege of it.

I know we discussed via PM but for everyone else ...

I was told the Mk3 is good for the rear and SHOULD be OK for the front as long as I can shim the slide.

I have one coming in now so I can at least do my Apex USB kit and later swap out the factory nights for TFOs

I've got one, and while it's a very nice setup, the shimming necessary for the front sight was just to shaky for me. I contacted the maker to see if he might make a better fitting setup to better hold the M&P in place, but that didn't seem an option. Someone handy with a machine shop and some aluminum or delrin could make a great holder...but lacking access to a shop at the moment, I just bought the MGW.

Got my Mk3 today ... slid the rear out without issue. Haven't tried the front yet
