Has Anyone Received Their Ammo & Mag Loader??

i submitted mine 10/3/17 - recieved my stuff today 1/8/18.

funny thing is - it never showed up on the milano website at all. not even after it was delivered. i had given up on it when i received an email from fedex about delivery.
others have mentioned it - adult sig required. i missed it on the first try and didnt have to on the second try as i guess the driver signed for it and left it on the porch.

Update: I bought my Shield 9 Sept 30 and yes I was influenced by the Rebate offer.

I submitted the info electronically Sept 5 and got a receipt that it was accepted. We are just short of 8 weeks now and nothing shows up on the Milano website.

I got my rebate Jan 08, 2018 almost exactly four months after submitting my claim, a total of 16 weeks.

On the positive side the mag charger is high quality, easy to use and works great. It's a real thumb saver. The ammo is carry quality. The two 8-round clips are the ones I wanted, not the 7-round clips, and are Smith and Wesson OEM.

I'm very happy with the quality of the package and disappointed with the amount of time it took to fulfill the rebate.

Mine came today. Probably took about 4 months, but that didn't bother me. Disappointed that the mags were for the full size instead of the compact. No problem as I've recently bought two full size 2.0's also.
Strange though that the mags were not in any kind of container at all, and were free to bounce around in the box with the ammo and loader.
Love ALL my 2.0's though.

Inservice for those who can't figure out the "over complicated" Caldwell mag charger:

Setup: (one time) Turn the mag holders on the side the the appropriate number for your mag. The 9mm is set at 3.

1. Insert mag (it goes in only one way)
2. Cinch the mag (takes about one quarter turn of a giant knob)
3. Insert bullet into the Caldwell (it goes in only one way)
4. Squeeze giant handle (bullet goes in easily with a loud "click")
5. Unscrew giant knob about one turn
6. Remove clip from mag loader

Repeat 8 times for an eight round clip (you have to able to count up to 8)
If you have a seven round clip, you can only put in seven bullets

For those of you who think this is "too complicated" or that the Caldwell is "garbage" I hope this inservice helps. :)

If after reading these instructions the Caldwell is still too complicated, please return your M&P to the store, or try to sell it on this site to someone who is smart enough to operate the mag charger. If you can't use the Caldwell you certainly aren't smart enough to properly operate your weapon safely or clean your gun.

FAQ: If you still have questions, such as "which way do I turn the knob to tighten it" the answer is "clockwise." If you don't know which way the clock runs, please see my video on Youtube "How to turn the knob on your Caldwell Mag Charger so the clip doesn't fall out while you are using it." It's a classic.

Seriously, it's not complicated.

I can load mags 2-3X faster using a cheap basic plain jane loader than the "Caldwell" ****!

Thanks for outlining the steps. It does work, but it is very cumbersome and inefficient compared to an UpLula. I am either going to sell it or give it to a buddy.

OK, you got me. I didn't mean to say "clips", I meant to say "Klipsch."

This Caldwell is such a great tool is can also load rounds into my Klipsch speakers!

How great is that? :D

Well, I said I wasn't going to call S&W again about my rebate. The last I called was early December, and they said I should see it by Xmas. That didn't happen, and we're well past Xmas now, so called them yesterday. Now they are saying maybe by the end of January, which I place absolutely no value on. Still waiting on 40 mags. They are getting good at the art of the run around, though.

There has to be some kind of law broken here. Rebate said 12 weeks max. I'm looking at week 20 here. I need to do some research on that, I guess.

I can load 8 rounds in 4 seconds. I guess this means you can load 8 rounds in what, about 1.5 seconds? Wow!

I'm patient. I can wait the extra 2.5 seconds it takes me past your impressive 1.5 seconds to load using the Caldwell.

Ammo, Mags and mag loader received.

Well it has been a long hard 16 week wait. I submitted for my rebate via the internet on 27 Sep 2017. I didn't see receipt confirmation on the Milano website until 6 Nov 2017, no shipping date, just confirmation. Finally today 24 Jan 2018, I received my two Mags, Ammo and Mag loader via FEDEX. FedEx emailed my shipping dates to me and required an adult signature on delivery. Note, Milano website still doesn't give a ship date. All I can say is wait and eventually they should come. I will say that after trying out the Caldwell Mag Loader I am not impressed. I much prefer the Maglula Uplula universal mag loader. Much easier to operate and more compact.

I have the same entry date and submitted 5 days before you. 18 weeks today and nothing.

I submitted my rebate via the net on 22 Sept 2017. I called S&W for the first time last week and was told I would have the mags, etc. by end of Jan, first of Feb. They arrived on Friday 26 Jan 2018, exactly 18 weeks after the rebated was sent.

I filed my rebate online, the 3rd week of September. I received my rebate package today. 15-16 weeks, I guess. It never did show up on the Milano site.

I finally received my 40 Shield rebate from July in Dec. I received my 45 Shield rebate from Aug in Jan, except they sent me 9mm mags and bullets instead of 45. Good grief, I'm so done With S&W rebates.
