Has Anyone Received Their Ammo & Mag Loader??

S&W now says to expect 12 weeks from valid form receipt by Milanos...
Yeah, 12 more weeks from the day that the rebate ended. I finally got ahold of someone on the phone in Friday, and that's what they said. the foreign sounding person I talked to said "Just be patient."

It's a shame I like their guns so much. Enough to where all I ever buy is either an M&P or a Glock. (Unless it's a Sig P320), so my handgun choices are limited.

The latest from S&W is:
Thank you for contacting Smith and Wesson and Thompson Center.

You should be receiving it soon. This Friday will be 12 weeks and they are running about 12 weeks maybe a little longer so I apologize for the inconvenience but you will be receiving it.

VERY BAD CS I HAVE LOST FAITH IN S&W'S REBATES AND WILL NEVER FALL FOR ANOTHER REBATE GIMMICK.

Guys come on, would you have bought your S&W if there wasn't a rebate? I most certainly did and didn't even realize there was a rebate until I was browsing through the forum and came across it. I remeber the email clearly stating that it would take a couple moths to "process" if my memory serves me correctly. Besides that Milano Professional Services is doing the rebates not S&W. Props to S&W for the fantastic guns they produce and the CS they provide on real issues not rebates. I don't know about any of you but I'd be more concerned with an issue with my firearm. Mine came with 4 grips, 2 mags, lock and case. I have all the fingers needed to load and fire it so the ammo, mag loader and extra mags are just a bonus. Now Milano Services is another story..

I read somewhere on here about peoples responses to being asked about being an NRA member or just owing a gun in general and the best response I saw that had me rolling was simply, "because F$#@ YOU that's why" I thought that was priceless, considering I had an issue with someone confronting about that very thing outside a local sporting good store.

Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Agreed

It is what it is and I have faith it will get here whenever. It was a bonus when I bought the gun and its not stopping me from enjoying it now without the rebate items. Sure I would enjoy a couple extra mags, but when they do get here it just another excuse to hit up the range.

My submission dated August 2nd 2017, I emailed S&W CS yesterday:

This is what I got.

"Dear Robert,

We would like to thank you for your e-mail and contacting Smith & Wesson / Thompson Center.

This promotion has been very well received and more people than first anticipated have taken advantage of this great deal. Because of this, the rebate company is a bit behind schedule processing all of these entries.

You can check with them to validate your entry and rebate check status.

Our Rebates are processed by Milanos Rebate Company. For inquires related to receipt or status of a submission, you will need to contact them for further assistance at 866-963-7933.

If you cannot get through to them and get a message like "the inbox is full", or a busy signal, this means that their phone queue is full and they cannot accept anymore calls at this time. We would suggest that you hang up and try calling right back.

Do not leave a message.

Their phones have been over loaded due to the over whelming response we have had to this promotion.

There is a way to validate your entry online but due to how the process works, it can take around 8 weeks for your information to show up. You can use the link below to check your status.

Please leave the phone number and dealer fields blank. I was informed that there is a glitch on the page.

Thank You for choosing Smith & Wesson / Thompson Center products. Have a great day.
Smith&Wesson values its customers and we are happy to have served you today. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance.

I had already done what was suggested several times in the last week or so. Telephone bounced to voice mail but mailbox was full.

I think they hired a boffo company to do the fulfillment and it got screwed up. Now S&W is scurrying around trying to pull things together and to avoid looking like bozos.

I spoke with S&W this past week after going back and forth via email. They apologized - said that the processing company (Milano) is insanely behind in processing rebates. The rep said that the actual anticipated time to receive your rebate is expected to be 12 weeks+.

She said that they are just now getting to July submissions...

That being said, just two days after that contact, and after trying repeatedly to call Milano (no voicemail and the S&W Rep suggested calling and continuing to hit the button to get back in the "call" line... Spent over an hour without ever speaking to someone), I received an email from S&W (not Milano) with confirmation of valid submission.

Same here. I submitted mine at the end of July. Talked to S&W customer service yesterday and she told me they were working on July submissions. I should expect mine to ship the end of October and receive it a week to 10 days later. Super polite. Very professional.

If that timing holds true across the board, they're running about 14 or 15 weeks from submission to arrival.

Guys come on, would you have bought your S&W if there wasn't a rebate? I most certainly did and didn't even realize there was a rebate until I was browsing through the forum and came across it.

I feel the same way about all rebates. I never buy something I wouldn't have bought without the rebate, apply for the rebate and then hope for the best. No sending forms in registered mail, calling for status updates, etc. So far I have always got all the rebates I applied for and it usually takes 2 to 3 months. Same for computer components, appliances, cars and now S&Ws. Patience is not a virtue but there is no point in banging your head against a brick wall when it will not make any difference.

Both of my rebates have appeared on the rebate site now. I believe that's right at 7 & 9 weeks. If I receive them in the next week or two I'll post again.

S&W told me 12 weeks from the date it shows up on Milano's website. It's been 13 and nothing. S&W needs to step in and straighten out this mess it is harming their reputation. To those making excuses my response is when a company promises a rebate it is their responsibility to make sure it is processed in a timely manner by a reputable company. No excesses accepted terrible customer service.

No, my receipt was rejected. It didn't itemize and state that I bought an M&P 2.0. Went back to gun store and asked for an itemized receipt, and they said they don't do that. I have my receipt that has gun store name on it, and valid serial number of an M&P 2.0 (that I bought at that gun store) but I gave up. The entire rebate system is a pain in the ***!

Actually I want to thank you all for starting this thread.

I didn't even know there was this rebate going on. LOL! I just started reading through this and was wondering what the actual rebate dates were. It's from July 1, 2017 through Sept 30, 2017. Well, go figure that I bought my 40 Shield on Sept 27, 2017. LOL! I just barely fell into the rebate window. So, I literally just filed my rebate online 5 minutes ago. I'm sure that means I won't get my stuff until the end of January and maybe even longer due to the holidays. But it is what it is. Like I said, I bought the 40 Shield because I wanted it, not because of the rebate. It's just a bonus, so if/when I get it, cool.

I agree with the few that have posted here that any rebate is a pain in the arse. LOL! I sent in a rebate for my Hornady LnL AP and dies when I first got them for free XTP HP bullets and I'm still waiting for those. Again, when they get here, they get here. Rebates always take forever and usually longer than the advertised date range. It is what it is. It's free goodies, so really, how can I complain about that?

Both of mine finally show up on their site, from July and August, but I get a letter today from MPS saying the receipt didn't show gun, store name, price and date - which the copies I submitted surely do. I will play this stupid game and resubmit but if I don't get what S&W promised me I will never buy another S&W product ever again, just on principle. This is plain BS!

I had a similar issue with one of mine and I contacted S&W through FB and sent them a photocopy of the receipt and they took care of it. The next day it showed up on the Milano rebate site.

Not sure you can really blame S&W being that they outsource that type of work.

For the ones that have received their goodies I haven't seen whether or not you have received shipping notifications before you received your package. Asking because I might need to change my delivery address

Got the "you didn't do it right" letter from S&W's hired outfit yesterday. Sales slip from Grab-A-Gun not good enough. The Shield 45 is a pretty good gun; doesn't cover the insult though. To Hell with Smith & Wesson.

Still waiting on my 2 after 9 weeks they showed up on Milano site 4 weeks ago and since then nothing!

I wonder does one have to sign for the Ammo? I know some companies require Adult signature on any Ammo!?

@ Grump01 Some claim they receive a shipping/tracking number and others don't.

@ Vthillman Just take a photo of the receipt and contact S&W through Facebook. They'll take care of it. If Grab-a-gun didn't send a receipt with the full purchase price they'll kick it back. Milano said mine was a lay-a-way because it didn't have no price on it.

@akdude. Not sure. I've had ammo delivered and it will be sitting on my front steps when I get home. lol
