As you know this bill was passed in Louisiana recently. This is what I've read in the Friday Oct 28th edition.It stated that this bill would require payment in anything other than cash. And the main reason for its existence was to deter copper stealing thieves.But it also goes on to explain that just about anyone dealing in second hand stuff like clothing, furniture,auto parts would be not exempt from this bill.
But as the article continues this bill would exempt gun and knife shows,pawnshops,coin dealers,garage sales on residential
property,used motor vehicle parts. Also exempts other trade and hobby shows. The newspaper is the Daily Iberian 10/28/11
