Heading to Idaho...

... for grandsons high school graduation. We might have about three days for a short side trip North from Boise to McCall and around the Hell's Canyon Scenic Byway and then back to Boise for the flight back home. Would this work? All suggestions appreciated. Thanks

I was a little north of McCall in White Bird, for an elk hunt, but did not have time to see much other than the Nez Perce Historic Park. I will however say the ride from Lewiston to White Bird, along Hwy 95 was very pretty, and well worth the trip. I'm not sure what is in season but the fishing on the Snake River is said to be very good.

Wish I had more to offer, but the view is worth the trip in my opinion.
