Hello, From Arkansas

New here. I have a S&W pistol, model 439. I bought is in 1999 from a truck driver. Used only 4 times in target shooting.
Interested in learning the history of the gun.
It has never been registered and I don't remember the name of the truck driver.
Any suggestions as to what I must or should do?

Welcome to the campfire.

You do not have to do anything. Arkansas is gun friendly, has no registration requirements, not including the Federal Class III types of weapons, which do not include standard handguns. You can look all of that up to reassure yourself.
