Hello Smith and Wesson Community, it's been awhile!! That dates back to my days of first owning a six shot S&W revolver as my first duty weapon in a small community. I liken it to Mayberry RFD. 
I graduated over time to various S&W's to include the "new" semi-automatics, a model 39 amongst them.
I left the "fold" and carried a Sig Sauer P228 until I retired more than ten years ago.
It's been that long since I've felt the need to own a firearm. I love Florida, but that feeling of Mayberry RFD it sure isn't! Thus I find myself in the market for a home defense weapon that I can also comfortably train my wife on who has very little experience with firearms and my adult child who will be 21 in just a couple months. Yes, yes, we all know Shotgun is "the" best home defense firearm, but I'm not comfortable teaching them that as I would be with a weapon like the Sigma. My wife refuses to go with a revolver, go figure!
So feel free to "shoot" me a PM if you have the best price in the world on a Sigma new or used as I'm still in the process of researching 9mm vs 40S&W. I've been using gunbroker.com extensively to cross-reference sales and such so far along with some obvious places like Buds, CheaperThaNDirt, BW Outfitters.
