Hi folks. I have enjoyed this forum for about a month, and I'm really in awe of all the knowledge here and all the beautiful firearms many of you own.
I am fairly new to gun culture, got interested a few years ago and have been playing catch-up ever since. I acquired a beat-up Victory Model recently and that's what has led me here.
I would like to acquire a couple more older Smiths to use as my main working handguns, a sturdy .38 or .357 for the nightstand and a K-Frame .22 for "training". From the vast amount of information here I'm starting to narrow it down to specific models and eras.
I don't think I'll ever completely catch the disease, but who knows? I hear one can become infected just by looking too deeply into the bluing of a Model 27.
