New to the forum and glad I found it. A lot of good information is here and I look forward to contributing where I can. My background is mostly in the rifle arena and last October I took the plunge into 2 pistols, one of which is a S&W SD9 VE. I was told it was a good introductory hand gun and so far I believe this is true. I've found it very reliable and have been doing "lunch" at my local indoor range once a week for several weeks now. My accuracy with a handgun is, well let's call it "lacking"
still and it's entirely a different ball game from the rifle world so I'll be looking for tips, tricks, and good advice if you have it!
