Hello everyone, greetings from the bastion of freedom and righteousness, Illinois. I joined this forum because I'm seeking advice from the aficionados. I recently bought my first revolver, an NAA mini. I love the thing but I think it's time for a "real" revolver 
I've noticed now that S&W have started offering no lock models the locked ones have gone down in price. The round butt heavy barrel model 10s are now around $600 which is right at the limit of what I'm willing to spend. Would I be better off buying a new locked model for that price or trying to find a pre lock one used? I am unfamiliar with S&W pricing and what to expect in terms of quality for $600.
