Hello from Michigan,

I spend some time at the M&P Forum, new here. I have the 1911 bug, looking for something a little more accurate than my M&P FS 9mm for non competition target blasting.

I have shot a SA Trophy Match (that gun made me look good!), and got a chance to handle a new Colt Gold Cup Trophy and a new SW 1911 DK in .45 ACP. I really like the 1911 DK, just have to find a way to come up with the extra $.

I would appreciate any and all comments on what you like in a 1911 target pistol. THANKS!

I have a S&W 1911 along with two Les Baers. My son actually likes the S&W better! Actually, the Smith 1911 is a nice gun. I've only had one small problem since I bought it and they sent me a shipping label to have it returned and repaired it very quickly. It's hard to beat the Smith 1911s for the cost.

Sorry, my only 1911 is a Dan Wesson. My Smith is a 686+ 4". Oh, and a great 3913NL. And a not so great 22S.

And, Semi-Paratus? ***?
Is that "sometimes" or "somewhat" ready?
