Hello from the gun friendly state of Kentucky

Thought I'd finally join the S&W Forum since I learned to shoot on a 1st Gen M&P Shield 9mm, which I still carry in rotation along with my new Walther PDP Compact.

Have a full time job in sales, but work part time in the afternoon a few days a week at a gun range/store for the perks & benefits.

Gives me a chance to shoot any gun in the range rentals for free. That's both a good and bad thing due to constantly being tempted. [emoji6]

Has convinced me my Gen 1 Shield will be traded soon for the new Shield Plus.

Welcome from Western Massachusetts. A piece of advice: Keep the Gen 1 Shield, but still buy the Shield Plus. This will save you some regret a few years down the road.
