Help dating 1905 hand ejector 4th change .38 special

It looks like TG (Gladstone) Kirby was the sheriff of Randolph County, Alabama in 1946. I worked in Lee County, two counties south of Randolph, back in the mid 1970s. Both counties are in East Alabama, bordering the Georgia line.
