Help Diagnosing X Frame mechanical issue

I've had similar problems with K frame and N frame models. It was ejector rod both times. K frame I bought used, would get harder to pull the trigger as you went along. Took it to LGS and he said the ejector rod was bent and straightened it for a nominal fee. No problems since then. The N frame is a pre 29, with right hand threads on the ejector rod. It was coming unscrewed during operation and binding the cylinder. Never had that problem with my .500. Not sure if it is the same as the 350, but the ejector rod on the 500 is not part of the lock. It has extra room around the ejector rod than other models, not sure if it could create the same problem.

@Thaddeus Beauregard visually inspecting, I see no sign of a poor fitting hand. there does not appear to be any lateral slop allowed. As for the lock, that makes sense. The gun has a documented 80 rounds through it. Rough guess this issue arose at roughly the 50 shots mark, and re appeared last week at the 75ish round mark.

@Dan W. Cady I'll keep that in mind in the future, currently as its sitting on my desk, its not acting up.

Exercise your warranty especially since if parts are needed, you will not find them anywhere but the factory and they will be professionally installed. (In a perfect world…)

Bringing this btt. I'm curious, did you ever get your .350 fixed, and if so, what was the issue discovered?
I have not sent it out yet, work has kept me busy. My plan is to take it to the range again and try to make the issue happen, and ship it that way. I feel like that’s my best to have them actually do something.

It would probably be helpful if you shot a video of you shooting it with commentary so they can see the issue.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say it resets itself when you open the cylinder? Since you can't (and shouldn't) ship it with live ammo in the cylinder, how would you ship it in locked up condition?

...Unless of course it also does this without firing live ammo, in which case you wouldn't need to go to the range to reproduce the issue.

I like your idea of a video. It does reset when opening the cylinder. It seems to do it 10 or 20 times then clears it self up. I was planning to get it out of sorts again, clear it, and ship it with the expectation it’ll do it as soon as they pull it out of the box.

I have found that a lot of times when a revo is acting weird, that either the hammer or trigger pivot pin has broken off, and the related appendage is wallowing around inside. This may or may not be the case here, but might be worth a look.
