Any guidance on source for a trigger spring for a 1920 vintage .22/32? Inexplicably & randomly broke in 2 places literally while laying on my bench to be wiped down after firing 18 rounds 2 hours earlier:(

Any help much appreciated.

The obvious sources are Numrich gun parts and Jack First Gun Parts. If those fail, try Bob's Gun Shop (in Arkansas). Bob's has a website, but he will not answer a phone call. Send him an email through the website, and he will let you know if he has it and the cost. He must have a tremendous selection of parts, but he and his crew won't waste time discussing it over the phone.
Good luck!
Mike

Please keep the input coming.
No luck and Numrich Jack First has new production but I was hoping for vintage. I will contact Bob's.

For clarification, this is the flat spring attached to the hammer not a coil spring.

has a bunch of old S&W parts for sale. I just ordered a complete hammer for my pre model 30 from them. They are very customer oriented and have very reasonable prices. 1/10/16
