A gentleman posted this on a S&W Facebook group the other day asking if anyone could help him identify the insignia. There are all kinds of opinions. At first I thought perhaps it was US Customs, but have confirmed that was incorrect. Perhaps its just a custom engraving? I thought someone on here might know something about it. Thank you in advance.

Was that Conrad's Treasury dept from wild, Wild West?

The first thing to come to mind is Federal Reserve Bank police. Just a guess, though.

There's a member , a good friend , that was a Federal Bank Inspector . He was actually authorised to carry a weapon and had quite the career . Hopefully he'll see this and throw his 2 cents in .
