Help me understand something, please.

What the heck is a push notification? Also, do I want to enable it? I'm thinking it has something to do with a cliff, but I'm not asking permission to push someone off it.
Really, is it something important?

I spend too much time deleting stuff already.

It's configurable on the forum software by the System Administrator. Most forums leave it on by default, but one that recently upgraded, where I know the owner, set it off.

It's annoying, especially even if you click "Never ask me again" you'll be asked again in a few days. I suspect that the forum owners and administrators don't get those messages.

I have push notifications turned off in my profile, but it doesn't matter because I still get that message.
