Help on a 317

I just purchased a 317 and I am needing to reduce the double action trigger pull if possible. My wife tried to shoot it and couldn't pull the trigger. I need to know if there is something I can do or do I need to take it to a gunsmith and what should I have done to it. Any help would be appreciated.I love the size and feel of the gun but the double action is so strong.

Buy a spring kit for it, if you replace the main you need to put about 200 rounds down the tube to make sure it won't miss fire on you.
