I got these is a rather large group of assorted magazines. I tried to Google the label but nothing came up. Any help greatly appreciated. If this is the wrong place to post this please forgive me and move it.

The baseplates are considerably different, so I suspect no.

It appears to me that S&W made 17 round mags for the SIGMA, SD, and SDVE Series pistols for a while, and it also appears that the 16-round (standard) and the 17-round 9mm magazines for these pistols used the same magazine tube except for the extra witness hole, but the 17-round had a thicker base plate to accommodate the extra round. S&W no longer lists these on its website, but I found a listing for them on the GunMag Warehouse site (out of stock):

gunmagwarehouse.com/smith-wesson-sw9-sw9ve-sigma-9mm-17-round-magazine

and the photos seem to be a match. I wonder if they discontinued the 17-round version of the magazine on the theory that people might buy the less expensive pistol if it had the same capacity as the M&P.

The SW 40F was my first double stack pistol way back in the day. I would like to find an old one for nostalgia.

Yes, the do fit in the SD9. Have one in mine right now. They hold 1 more round than the standard SD mag and are slightly longer and therefore the base is extended to cover the extra length. If it is tight locking in, you can take the mag base off and slightly sand the top of it where it hits the base of the SD9 and that will give you the needed clearance. This will not affect or harm reliability.
