A 44 Russian case is identical to the 44 S&W Special case other than length so that makes sense.

I decided to just shoot it, and it works perfectly. Went out to the back pasture and took 12 rounds and put them into the wood pile about 5 yards out. It hit pretty close to what I was aiming at. I will go to the range with targets to better gauge its accuracy….but I am very pleased. My empty cases.
