Help with new car key's.

We have a car with the key's that you keep in your pocket and don't have to take them out to operate the car. Now that part I like. My problem is sometimes when I bend over to pick up something the horn will blow, or it will lock the car, and I have found the windows down. Please I need a good fix for this. Don

Seriously, you probably need some kind of pocket holster for the device.

Don't think that's a problem I'll ever have to worry about. I don't even like power windows, much less automatic doors. It scares me enough that there's a computer somewhere in my truck. I miss having a gas pumping carborator staring up at me when I pop the hood.

You may want to try a cell phone holster with a snap enclosure, and carry only the keys in it (holster on your belt, not in a pocket).

This is the best idea so far. The older I get the more it hurts to bend over. I hate going to the doctor he is always wanting me to bend over. Don

My wife has a car with a key/fob like that. She carries hers in her purse right next to the kitchen sink.

I hate that stuff. I was pleasantly surprised to find my '08 pickup does not have a "chip" key.

I don't understand. Are you inadvertently pushing buttons when you bend? Kinda like butt dialing a cell phone?

You could tape it to the magazine holder on your shoulder holster - Or to one of the straps if you're a wheel gun guy...

One of the top 10 dumbest inventions ever. I rented a Dodge Magnum that had that feature. We went to dinner and came back to the hotel at about 10:30. The next morning we had a meeting in the hotel. At 1:30 the next day, I wnt to get in the car and found it running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It used up 3/4 of a tank of gas. Somehow I must have hit the remote start button. Why would you want to have a set of "keys" that you can't store in the ignition when you are driving. Stupid useless technology.
Oh, I have a place to put those keys, and it has to do with the designer of the system and a place where the sun doesn't shine!

What's really bad if you and your wife go somewhere and you drop off the wife with the keys in your purse and you run an errant while she shopping guess what, you can't start the car.
