Help with price on 460XVR NRA Gun of The Year

I'm trying to determine what to ask for a Smith and Wesson 460 XVR NRA Gun of The Year...my dad won this back in 2007 and it's one of 1100. This was chosen by the Friends of The NRA for 2007 and is new in the box, has never been fired and has all the paperwork with it. He does not need to sell it but will never use it and I would like to see it go to a collector or someone that may enjoy it. I told him to get something made from the custom shop that he can shoot with me and his grandson and enjoy...thanks for the help John.

I think if he got $1,200 he would be very happy. I hope that is a reasonable price to ask for it...

What is the difference of the gun your dad won compared to a standard .460XVR. Engravings or ??? Thanks,

It has the NRA engravings and also lists it as gun 9XX out of 1,100...I'm going to try and post a picture.
