Help with shroud. (Updated) with pictures installed

What tools don't you have? I thought the flash suppresor screwed off and the shroud screwed on...

You need a vice to hold barrel or the barrel will move, iI tried it to be cheap install the shroud & every other shoot was a FTF, went to Wendy's got a frosty & start thinking.
First I cleaned the bolt will goback but not completly go forward & the bullet will not go in all the way.
Ok put the A1 flash hider back in & tighten it the barrel moved a slight. Put in mag shoot whole mag rapid without problem

Took the A1 back out but this time very careful , put in the shroud from Keneti-tech now no problem. For beeing cheap it almost cost me. As I know warranty won't cover custumer stupidity .

I've heard of this happening to more than one person. Anyone changing the flash suppressor on the 15-22 needs to purchase a barrel vice. No other way to do it properly.

I know is was going to, but with all the $ I'm spending. was trying not to tell the wife that I needed more cash. I even told her that this will be my Fathers Day gift for me not to hear it.

But thank God everything is fine now.

Imagine me telling my daughter that Daddy broke her favorite (toy) rifle, that it will be a while before she can shoot it again. Thank God I don't have to see that look in her face, the look of sadness.
It would have broken my heart>
