Let the flames begin.

Starting with Lyndon Johnson there have been only 3 presidents who have sired any boys. Gerald Ford,Ronald Reagon, and Bush #1 All the rest fathered only girls.
Nixon,Carter,Clinton,Bush #2,and Obama.

Must make me a bad person since I only have a daughter. Thank you for contributing.

There is a belief in some cultures that only manly, strong, men can father mostly male children. The same story goes on to suggest that men that produce only girls have something wrong with them. Whether this is true or not, that is the story, and it is peculiar to the latin cultures and the romance language based cultures.

Me? I don't believe a word of it because I have known too many he-men that brought lots of girls into the world and also men that fathered only boys and were less than he-men.

Sir, this isn't that kind of Forum.

If you want to present a hypothesis and defend it, as long as it meets all the Forum Rules, go ahead.

If you want to make flame-provoking statements, then stand back and hope to watch a fight, you won't be here long.

If this was meant to be humorous, not so much, need to be more creative.

If this was meant to be serious, get a life.

No flames, just wonder.

When did the rules change

I have one daughter. I heard theorys or storys that athleats have more daughters. I dont know.
Seems to come out even.

OKAY, OKAY, I apologize for starting this thread. I'll have to start with my 2 daughters. I've had to put up with the "men make men" comments forever. Of course I don't believe the manly man theory but I do wonder if living with only females has anything to do with the development of personality, problem solving, and people managing skills. If you make a rough calculation, since JFK through Obama there are about 40 years worth of leadership by men who, possibly, came from a female dominated home (Hillary?)

Now, I don't have the slightest evidence, no training, no nothing to post this discussion. It just occurred to me during a brain fart.

If one wanted to speculate it might be interesting to check out the family situation (gender wise) of the presidents before and after the women got the vote? My hypothesis would be that politics were changed when women were added to the electorate, I don't think it was for the better either.
It is known that gender has a large effect on voting patterns, so it must have an effect on political platforms and the candidates that stand on them? This could be an interesting thread, although I to thought it started in an odd way.
