HEY!! GUESS WHAT? This starts on April 6th.

I mentioned it before about a month or two ago but didnt have any info on it--now I do.

AMC is coming out with another show that sounds real interesting and looks good too. Im not a fan of much of anything new on tv or and movies but--this show looks very promising. Its called: Turn and is about Americas first spy ring. I dont know anything else but, hope it happens to be inspired by the Case of Gustavus--which was the operation of trying to find out who has been giving info to the British? Well, as you all know--the Case of Gustavus was about finding out who the traitor (Gen Benedict Arnold) was? who was trying to sell out West Point-to the British--which could have cost us to lose the Revolutionary War. The American in charge was a Major in the Dragoons--went by the name of: Major John Bolton. Major Bolton appeared to escape Ami custody-and went over to the British.

He was in the charge of Major John Andre--whom he became friends with, and whom he tried to get his death sentence commuted (after being caught when they found out about Benedict Arnold, and after being tried and sentenced to hang.

Ringo, thanks for the heads up. "John Bolton" was the code name of Benjamin Tallmadge who was later elected to the House of Representatives. Interesting fellow.

He was the one who organized the Culper Spy Ring. Some historians dispute that it was the Culper Ring that brought down Benedict Arnold. Nevertheless, The Culper Spy Ring was so secretive that even George Washington didn't know who the operatives were. Like I said, interesting fellow.

Quite welcome and me too. Also, I cant remember where I read it at? but was online--that they were trying to paint Ben as a son of a b-- which kind of ticks me off--because nothing else ive read about him in any book, none comes anywhere close that that one assumption.

Oh and--if any are interested? and to get you in the mood for this series--you got to watch: The Scarlet Coat w/ Cornel Wilde--as Maj John Bolton (aka) Ben Tallmadge.

This movie is on dvd, probable on sites and services you all have to pay for--like Netflix.
