Work has got me going non stop

I got a new 686-4 all tricked up for shooting Service Pistol
And I have two brand new 686 weighted barrel models coming
Will be here shortly after Xmas
I'll have twins of a different type

My 686-4 I got two week age

I will try and get aboard more often

I am a big fan of the 686 though I find the 6" barrel to be a tad muzzle- heavy for me.

I'm not certain, but I thought that handguns with barrels less than 4" in length, and semi-autos with a certain mag capacity (>10 rounds?) were banned.

Rules are a bit different for police and security, but in general the above is about right.

No handgun hunting allowed.
To have handguns you have to belong to a recoginsed club.
To keep your guns you have to complete in a certain number of matches per year.
To keep your guns you have to attend a certain number of shoots per year.
Police have a record of you fingerprints and list of your guns.
Guns have to be stored in a safe that meets certain criteria.
Police can come to your house at short notice to inspect your safe keeping facilities.

Good on ya' Aussie. A 686 is about the best .357 I ever owned. Mine is a 4 inch however. Welcome aboard.
