Have been finding a lot of different uses for my leaf blowers.
"Sweeping" out the garage is a snap, pretty effective cleaning out vehicles after removing loose items with my electric blower.
My gas unit is great for getting a brush pile or bonfire burning.
Today was in the mid 50°, a good day to give our two golden retrievers a bath. I noticed my electric blower just inside the garage during bath time. "Why not?" I thought. I took the 2 foot nozzle off the electric unit, turned it on low and proceeded to blow dry the younger dog being gentle, proceeding slowly, avoiding her face and reassuring her. Although this was not a fun activity for her, she tolerated it very well and was quite manageable. The older dog is more nervous but she tolerated it well too. Both were still damp and required some toweling, but far less as a result of the high velocity air treatment.

They're really good at mulching leaves, if yours is set up for that. Makes a 15-fold reduction in volume, and the mulch is great for veggie gardens or around trees.

Been using mine for 20 years to blow snow off the driveway.......it's good for up to an inch or two of light fluffy (lake effect) snow.............

also use it for sweeping the garage/deck/patio ......... and

snow on the car that gets left out.............

Looking to upgrade to a backpack model for "more power"!!!

:D

I bought a nice Stihl blower last summer. I've used it for everything from drying stuff off to blowing snow off the cars and driveway. I don't know how I did without one for so many years.
I spent a little more for a Stihl but as much as I use it, it's well worth it.

Bought one of the Metrovacs that is both a vac and blower. Pricey but beats my old ShopVac with ease. Drying the car is a matter of a few minutes, and gets all the water out of the crevices (door jambs, mirrors, spoiler, etc.)

You Copy Cats:D.

I brought this up a year ago. The best use for a leaf blower is to clean out the vents and area behind the fridge:eek: It really does work.

I like Tim Allens use for them....
He just duct tapes all the bric-a-brac down and uses one to dust his house indoors.

I use an electric one to clean out the garage and to blow out the clothes dryer vent. When they built this house the put the vent in a bend and then up through the attic and roof. Really poor design. It does get clogged up. Snow in Florida!

I used it to dry my JR Terrier he loved it, my new dog not so much.

Be careful around their eyes

Have a gas one for outside,

Friend of mine thought of using his to clean his basement. Thought it worked just fine,........until he found out a lot of dust had been blown upstairs........where his wife had just finished dusting.
