That was my thought too.
I like my bologna ground up with hard boiled eggs and sweet pickles and Miracle Whip. Now I'm hungry.

Growing up we had many a meal consisting of fried baloney, fresh tomatoes and mayo. A nice break from fried potatoes, pinto beans and cornbread. Still get a craving for that though from time to time. You can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy.
I remember many a supper where the main dish was fried bologna. Well, baloney. Nobody told me we were poor. Haven't had any baloney since I left home 50 years ago.
Somebody said the magic word; PORKRINDS! Then my teenage years reappear.

Hmmmm, I seem to remember having that a time or two as a kid. One of the most versitile food to ever grease up a plate. Even just roll up a slice of cheese in it and be on your way, quick and easy.
I am amazed that we have some folks who claim never to have eaten bologna.
Down where I come from, we would call them members of the Bourgeois.
That is, if we could pronounce 'Bourgeois.'
