Hopps flannel cloth

I was at K-mart with the wife today and saw this cloth. It said it has protectant built in. Has anyone used this? Should I only use it on the slide?

I have a couple of them and I use them to do a final wipe down after cleaning and for normal wipe downs. They're impregnated with silicone and leave the gun looking nice. I wouldn't worry about it getting on polymer.

I used to use one all the time. Now that I use Frog Lube I don't as I wipe down the slide with the FL

That being said the Flannel wipe works well

Works like a charm for wiping down a gun to remove fingerprints and protect against rust. If you keep it in a zipped plastic bag it'll stay good for a very long time. Good product. Safe on wood and polymer.

Stay away from the recoil shield in a revolver or the bolt end of autos with it because silicone will penetrate and kill primers. Never touch ammo with it.

I usi one like that for a final wipe down any time I handle my old High Standard Model B That has very little bluing left on it.
