Hot Fudge Sauce!

You might want to give a sugar free version a try.

Thank you. I have, but I discovered there is a structural difference(?) in just replacing the sugar with another sweetener. I would have to use a different recipe - one specifically designed for such, but I doubt that would give the exact same texture and taste. Before my Diabetes diagnosis I loved this specific recipe. A sugar free recipe might taste good or feel (mouthfeel) as good, but it wouldn't be the same - at least not as I've discovered so far.

There are a multitude of fried chicken recipes, but once you've found one you really like, all others seem "lacking" in comparison.

There is nothing like creamy, rich, milk chocolate hot fudge sauce. Hard to find these days (at lease in my part of the country) and the substitute hot fudge concoction most places like Dairy Queen and the like offer these days may not be as fattening but neither can it compare. One of downsides to growing old . . .

Loved fresh chocolate milk when I was kid. Would buy it straight off the truck in glass bottles as cold as could be. Wax/paper/coated cartons and plastic jugs and the new ways of making the combination can't hold a candle to it. Those who never tasted it can't relate - it's their loss :(
