Very nice fellows. My older brother just purchased a CS40 here in Southern California and will be doing the paperwork tomorrow (then, of course, comes the 10 day waiting period, even for a retired police officer). After he confirms reliability, he's thinking about carrying it. Do you fellows have a good place to obtain parts? He's especially interested in extra magazines. He's on the forum often, but does not post. So, I told him I would check with the forum's CS guys. That's CS as in Chief's Special . . .
Thanks,
DD
Where are you guys getting those (wood?) grips from ? They really make the CS stand out .
I purchased mine wood grip on amazon, they were listed on there for a while... put them on my cs45, shot it, took the grips back off and went to the tercgen grip... the wood one didn’t fit my hand at all...period... but they look good... tercgen grips made both my cs’s perfect!
Those KSDs look nice. Could you please post a pic showing the thickness. The KSD site has has no such pics. Are they noticeably thinner than the Hogues??![]()
The KSD grips extend down behind the magazine and give the gun a whole different feel. For me at least, it's a vast improvement, not to mention they look pretty good too.

Were it not for TercGens excellent grips, I believe I would have sold my CS45.
While it is the smallest TDA 45 extant and exhibits the 3rd gen reliability and accuracy I have come to expect, the Hogue rubber grips made the gun too thick and unable to accomplish what I purchased it for.
It was parked when I received word that TercGen was making the cut down Delrin grips. After installation of his well made grips (which fit as though they were factory made) and the addition of a thin rubber grip sleeve, the CS45 is in my EDC rotation and sees a lot of use.
If you have any issues using the factory OEM Hogue rubber grips on either a CS9 or especially a CS40 or CS45, do yourself a favor and contact TercGen. His grips change the whole feel of the CS guns. And make them better suited for concealed carry.
Thanks again TercGen!!Best regards, 18DAI
I only have two, but just passed on a great condition, great price CS 40. It would have been the first and only .40 I would have had.
As I’ve said here before, I have taken “some liberties” with them, (inside and out,) but I can return them to original in short order.
